Fans of Love Island should start bracing themselves for some Casa Amor chaos, according to show insiders.

The villa’s name, which translates to ‘House of Love’, has become one of the most iconic and notorious events to take place in previous years.

By separating couples into individual house, producers create the perfect breeding ground for cheating, bust ups and blossoming love.

Here’s when the show’s biggest twist is expected to return this year…

Although the exact date for Casa Amor 2022 has not been confirmed, it’s been reported it will return on Monday 4 July.

A show insider said: ‘Just when the Islanders start to get comfortable in their couples, they are going to get a real shock as they are torn apart.’

‘This year’s Casa Amor promises to be the most explosive yet thanks to some seriously fiery characters, who have already shown their heads can be turned,’ the source told The Sun.

However an insider for the show told Metro that the leak was ‘purely speculation’.

Going off previous years, Casa Amor should last roughly three or four days.

Although Casa Amor is brief when compared to the full length of the show, which spans several weeks – it has been known to throw the shows’ plot upside down.

It’s caused iconic moments including the temporary split of last year’s winners, Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

It airs every night except Saturdays at 9pm on ITV2. On Saturday ITV2 broadcasts Love Island: Unseen Bits.

Episodes will become available on ITV Hub shortly after broadcast.

Although there has been no official confirmation on the length of this series, it is likely this show will be between six and eight weeks long.

The show’s host Laura Whitmore is accompanied by Whitmore’s husband, Iain Stirling, who provides the programme’s witty narration.

Of course, the first port of call is ITV for the ITV2 show. Episodes will air every night at 9pm with Saturday broadcasting unseen footage from the week’s event.

You can watch catch up via the ITV Hub which you can access via the likes of your phone, tablet, computer, Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

ITV Hub+ offers a free seven-day trial. Once that’s expired there will be a subscription charge. ITV Hub+ is also available through Amazon Prime Video which also incurs a charge.

You can also catch episodes streaming on BritBox the morning after they air but again you will need to pay for a subscription.
